In 1887, a pharmacist Jakob Kurberg bought the Moe manor and starts building a fine spirit distillery that is modern for its day. History of spirit production in Moe dates back to 1688 which makes it the world’s second oldest spirit distillery. Moe hotel is a part of visitor centre in old distillery`s premises. Carpets are chosen in spirit of old engravings. Dignified materials in modern composition carries on the legacy of Moe`s rich history.
