In 1886 the famous pharmacist Jakob Kurberg founded a modern steam-powered distillery, a liqueur factory, a brewery and a lemonade factory in Moe. Thanks to Mr. Kurberg Moe Distillery is one of the oldest operating distilleries in the world!
Old Moe manor house premises are the perfect place for the factory shop. Old limestone walls are mixed with modern furniture.
